This week on the Google Educast: The new Research Tool in Google Documents has already added some functionality: narrow down your search to Scholar, and cite your sources in-text.  Also, consider a Google Custom Search Engine as a type of bibliography.  Tabs in Chrome across devices, autocomplete in Gmail searches, and an updated Google app for iPhone.  We’d love to try SlideRocket, which is a third-party app in the Marketplace for Google Apps domains.  Any listeners using it?  Please let us know!  Zazzle has Google Doodles on whatever you want!  Customize your t-shirts, mugs, tote bags, and more.  Make sure you get the code for a 20% discount. There are even Teachers Day Doodles.  Try Feather Beta for YouTube to slim down your viewing experience and make YouTube faster for you.  Chris shared about the Web Clipboard in Docs as well as a series of helpful videos he’s been making for his colleagues as they transition to their Apps Domain. Chrome Add-Ons Web of Trust, Shortcuts for Google, and Docs Quickly.  And check out Blockly if you’re learning how to code or looking for an alternative to Scratch.

Show Hosts:  Sean Williams, Diane Main, and Chris Betcher!
