New Teacher – New Strategy #2 from SMeech
Lots of Ed Techers talk about joining Twitter and Social Networks to communicate with other educators. While I do believe that all teachers should create a Personal Learning Network, I think it is a mistake for new teachers to jump on Twitter first! My suggestion for new teachers and veterans looking to leverage the community is to start by searching Twitter.
Go to search.twitter.com and plug in a hashtag from Cybraryman. Don’t get overwhelmed by the hashtags, just start with: #newteachers, #edreach, #edapp, #iear, #edchat.
